As President/Owner of HBW Solutions, Inc., Brian brings 25 years of process engineering experience and technical leadership within the pharmaceutical and food industries. A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Brian combines extensive engineering expertise with the strategic and client-focused leadership required to guide HBW Solutions and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Throughout his career, Brian has designed and supported the startup of process systems for APIs, small molecules, blood fractionation, formulation, fill-finish, and fluid processing applications. His areas of specialization include the integration of Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) systems, as well as specialty stainless-steel process design for transfer panels, valve manifolds, skidded equipment, and spray devices.

As Owner, Brian lead's HBW Solutions' engineering staff to provide technical direction, maintain project quality.  bringing both a technical and business perspective to each engagement.

Brian's combination of hands-on engineering experience, specialized process knowledge, project leadership, and client-focused business management provides the technical foundation and leadership behind HBW Solutions' engineering services.

Geoff serves as Director of Administration and Technical Services for HBW Solutions, Inc., providing leadership and oversight across the company’s administrative operations, technical services, and project delivery functions. In this role, Geoff helps establish the structure, processes, and technical standards necessary to support consistent project execution and high-quality service for HBW’s clients.

Geoff plays an important role in coordinating HBW’s technical resources and supporting multidisciplinary engineering and automation projects throughout the project lifecycle. Drawing on his background in electrical engineering, industrial automation, and systems integration, he provides technical guidance while helping ensure projects remain aligned with client requirements, quality expectations, regulatory considerations, and overall business objectives.

A key focus of Geoff’s role is strengthening operational consistency and technical execution across HBW Solutions. He supports the development and implementation of scalable processes, engineering standards, and project delivery practices that improve efficiency, manage risk, control costs, and promote reliable, maintainable solutions for clients, particularly within regulated GMP environments.

Geoff also contributes to resource planning, organizational development, and cross-functional coordination within HBW. He works closely with company leadership, project teams, clients, and external partners to address project needs, resolve technical and operational challenges, and ensure teams have the structure and resources necessary for successful execution.

Through his combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and disciplined project oversight, Geoff helps strengthen HBW Solutions’ ability to successfully deliver complex engineering, automation, and systems integration projects while supporting the company’s continued growth and commitment to client service.

Jennifer Houchins is an accomplished business operations and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience supporting organizational growth, operational excellence, and strategic business initiatives. As Director of Operations at HBW Solutions, Inc., she plays a key leadership role in managing the day-to-day business operations of the organization while helping position the company for continued growth and long-term success.

In her role as Director of Operations, Jennifer oversees and coordinates critical business functions, including human resources, corporate policies and procedures, employee onboarding, contracts and agreements, proposal development, project administration, client communications, and internal business processes. 

She works closely with company leadership and technical teams to improve operational efficiency, establish consistent procedures, and ensure employees have the resources and organizational support necessary to successfully serve clients.

Jennifer is also actively involved in strategic planning and business development initiatives. Her responsibilities include supporting the development of new service offerings, strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities for organizational improvement, and helping expand HBW Solutions' capabilities in areas such as engineering, automation, robotics, systems integration, and emerging technologies.

With a strong background in communications, marketing, business development, and organizational planning, Jennifer brings both strategic and operational perspectives to her leadership role. 

Jennifer serves as a central point of coordination across administrative, operational, and strategic functions. Her work helps bridge the needs of leadership, employees, clients, and project teams while supporting HBW Solutions' commitment to delivering high-quality engineering and technical services.

Karen oversees the financial strategy and day-to-day financial operations of HBW Solutions, Inc. Working closely with the administrative team, she supports financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and the overall financial management of the company.

Her responsibilities include managing invoicing, payroll, health insurance, and employee benefits, helping ensure that HBW's financial and administrative processes operate efficiently and accurately. Karen also works closely with Project Managers and the Director of Operations to monitor and address the financial needs of individual projects, helping align project requirements with budgets and company financial objectives.

Through her attention to financial management and collaboration across the organization, Karen plays an important role in supporting HBW Solutions' operational stability, project execution, and continued growth.

Joe leads strategic growth and innovation efforts across the company. He works with HBW’s leadership and technical teams to strengthen existing capabilities, develop new services, expand key client and industry relationships, evaluate new technologies, and identify opportunities for long-term growth. His role connects the technical, operational, and business sides of HBW to help the company build on what it does well today while preparing for where its clients and industries are headed.

Joe has 30 years of experience in engineering, project delivery, client development and business leadership across the life sciences, food and beverage, and industrial markets. He began his career as a mechanical engineer and project manager, building a strong technical and project execution foundation before taking on broader responsibilities in client management, business development, team development, and organizational growth.

Over his career, Joe has helped build technical teams and capabilities, develop long-term client relationships, improve project and business processes, and expand engineering and consulting services. His experience includes engineering and EPC project execution across the full lifecycle of capital projects, along with automation and controls, system integration, project and program leadership, business development, and strategic planning.

Gregg leads the Automation and Robotics Engineering team and development. He focuses on engineering management and execution of capital projects with experience in industrial process control systems, safety management systems, and plant start-up. He brings extensive experience as owner’s representative and design leader in construction, installation and commissioning of automation, equipment and facilities across several industries. 

Combining engineering, leadership, and communication skills, Gregg excels at ensuring that large and small complex projects meet and exceed stakeholders' expectations. Gregg has broad industrial experience in chemicals, biologics and food manufacturing, electricity markets, generation, and transmission, upstream and downstream oil and gas.
